« Nous sommes disposés à atteindre les parties sombres des autres et de nous-même ». Thaisa travaille le plus souvent dans l’intimité de son cercle d’amies. Et c’est en voyageant qu’elle trouve les cadres qui lui permettent de mettre en image ses histoires, scénarios, inspirés la plupart du temps par les femmes. Elle pense qu’à travers les images, on peut rendre les gens puissants. En effet, elle décide de montrer ceux qui veulent se faire voir mais que le monde refuse de regarder. Elle est fascinée par les problèmes d’identité et par la capacité qu’à le corps à renaître quand ceux-ci le font disparaître.
Symbolisme, mélancolie, surréalisme, magie, vide, sont des mots qui l’accompagnent quand il s’agit de prendre des clichés. ‘’Tout ce que tu seras, tu l’es déjà. Ce que tu cherches est déjà en toi. Réjouis-toi de tes chagrins. Grâce à eux, tu arriveras à moi.” Jodorowski.
Diplômée des Beaux-arts de Rio de Janeiro. Dès l’enfance, son intérêt s’est porté sur la création et c’est en 2009, à l’université, qu’elle a eu son premier contact profond avec la photographie en entrant dans l’intimité du processus de technique et de création. Elle participe à un programme d’échange avec l’université de Picardie Jules Verne à Amiens. À son retour au Brésil, elle travaille dans plusieurs musées et effectue des photoperformances. Elle a couvert des événements comme Levi’s, le festival Stoïque Carregado,le festival Dança em Trânsito (Grupo-Espaço Tapias) et Osklen, comme photographe et vidéaste.

“We are ready to reach the darkness within others and within ourselves.” Thaisa works mostly within the intimacy of her circle of friends. It’s while travelling that she finds the settings that enable her to put her stories and scenarios into images, usually inspired by women. She believes that you can change ideas and empower people through images. She wants to show those people who want to be seen, but whom the world refuses to see. She is fascinated by identity issues and by the ability the body has to be reborn when it has been made to disappear. When it comes to taking photos and living life, there are a few words that inspire her: symbolism, melancholy, surrealism, faith, absence, magic. “Everything you will be, you are already. Everything you are searching for is already inside you. Celebrate your sorrows. Thanks to them, you will reach me.” Jodorowski.
She graduated from the School of Fine Art in Rio de Janeiro. Ever since she was a child, she has enjoyed drawing, sculpting and collage, as well as photography. At university in 2009, she became more interested the creative and technical process of photography. She did an exchange programme at the University of Picardie Jules Verne (Amiens) with the aim of developing her photography skills. After returning to Brazil and finishing her degree, she worked in a few museums in Rio and started doing photo performances. She covered events for Levi’s, the Sotaque Carregado festival, the Dança em Trânsito festival (Grupo-Espaço Tapias) and Osklen, and also started working as a videographer.

Таиза училась на факультете Изящных Исскуств Университета Рио-де-Жанейро. С детства она интересовалась искусством. В 2009 году, поступив в Универитет, она познакомилась с творческими и техническими сторонами фотографии. Затем она уехала по обмену в Университет Жуль Верна в Амьене. По возвращении в Бразилию, Таиза начинает сотрудничать с музеями, организует фото-перформансы. Она снимала на мероприятиях бренда «Levi’s», на фестивалях Sotaque в Каррегадо, Dança em Trânsito (Grupo-Espaço Tapias) и для марки Osklen. Занимается Таиза и видеосъемкой.
