Elle a 13 ans, son pays – la Roumanie- sort de la révolution, elle sait, elle décide qu’elle sera photographe. Elle veut avec des images montrer ce qui est autour de nous et Que souvent on ne voit pas … la grâce d’un regard, un petit vélo posé sur un disque, une lumière qui éclaire la nuit, la douceur d’un sein … Généreuse, sensible et à l’écoute de ses modèle & du monde qui l’entoure Géraldine est récompensée en 2000 par le prix de la fondation de France.
Cela la conforte dans son choix, lui permet d’acheter ses premières lumières. Depuis Geraldine pose son œil vert dans l’objectif de son appareil et révèle le monde, les gens dans ses photos.

She is 13 years old, her country – Romania – is emerging from the revolution, she knows, she decides to become a photographer. With her pictures, she wants to show what is around us and what we often don’t see…the grace of a glance, a small bicycle propped on a disc, a light that lights up the night, the softness of a breast…
Generous, sensitive and attentive to her models and to the world around her, Géraldine was awarded the Prix de la Fondation de France in 2000.
This reassured her in her choice, enabled her to buy her first lights.
Since then, Géraldine has placed her green eye firmly in the lens of her camera and has revealed the world, people, in her photos.

Ей было 13 лет, когда в ее родной Румынии закончилась революция. Она хочет стать фотографом – и знает, что станет. На своих фотографиях она хочет показать то, что вокруг нас – то, что мы часто не замечает. Красоту взгляда, велосипед на одном колесе, луч света, освещающий ночь, нежность женской груди… Она щедро делится красотой вокруг. Она тонко чувствует и чутко относится и к своим моделям, и к окружающему миру. В 2000 году Жеральдин получила премию Fonfation de France.
Это еще больше уверило ее в правильности выбора. Премию фотограф потратила на студийное оборудование. Жеральдин смотрит, своими зелеными глазами, в объектив – и позволяет нам по-новому увидеть мир и людей.
